VPN Bonding

Large files and applications such as VoIP and Video Conferencing are frequently used between headquarter and branch offices, which are connected via either leased line or VPN. The application is mission-critical and bandwidth demanding.

However, VPN and leased line networks are traditionally established based on a single Internet circuit. Should the circuit fails, there is no way to keep the continuity for the organizaitons. In addition, if more bandwidth is required to accommodate increasing demand, this is possibly difficult to achieve. This could mean expensive upgrades, change of Internet infrastructure.

Our XBOND (Bandwidth Bonding Technology) maximizes the bandwidth capacity by efficiently bonding multiple channels at each location. The XBOND works on static IP, dynamic IP, and even private IP. It can be integrated into existing VPN networks with minimal impact. In the event of an Internet line fails in a site-to-site VPN network, the XBOND will still keep the VPN connectivity up through the remaining active line.
